These two official tools get confused constantly, so it’s worth being clear upfront:
- Beneficiary List answers: “Is my name on the approved list for my village at all?” It’s a public list, filtered by location, that anyone can browse — no registration number needed.
- Know Your Status answers: “Has my specific instalment been paid, and what’s holding it up if not?” It needs your individual registration number and shows payment-level detail (UTR number, bank, credit date).
If you’re not sure whether you’re registered at all, start with the Beneficiary List. If you know you’re registered but want to track a payment, use Know Your Status instead.
How to Check the PM-KISAN Beneficiary List (Step by Step)
- Go to the official portal, pmkisan.gov.in.
- In the Farmers Corner menu, click Beneficiary List.
- Select your State from the dropdown.
- Select your District.
- Select your Sub-District/Block.
- Select your Village.
- Click Get Report.
The resulting list shows every approved beneficiary registered in that village, along with their father’s or husband’s name and a partially masked Aadhaar number, so you can confirm identity without exposing full Aadhaar details publicly.
What To Do If Your Name Isn’t on the List
- Double-check you selected the correct State, District, Block and Village — village-level administrative boundaries don’t always match common local names exactly.
