Correction Policy

Government notifications change — dates get extended, fees get revised, vacancies get updated. We rely on readers as well as our own checks to keep articles accurate, and we take corrections seriously.
How to report an error
Email contact@janavsara.in with:
- The URL of the page
- What you believe is incorrect
- A link to the official notification or source that supports the correction, if you have one
What happens next
- We check the claim against the official source before making any change.
- Small fixes — typos, formatting, broken links — are corrected without a separate note.
- Factual changes — a date, fee, eligibility condition, status or any figure — are corrected and the article’s “Last updated” date is refreshed to reflect it.
- For a significant change to a widely-read article (for example, a cancelled exam or withdrawn scheme), we add a visible note explaining what changed and when.
We aim to respond within
2–3 working days for a first response, though verifying against an official source can occasionally take longer.
Expired or closed opportunities
When an application window closes, we mark the article “Closed” rather than deleting it, and link to newer related schemes or notifications, so old pages don’t mislead readers into thinking they can still apply.
