Editorial Policy

This page explains how JanAvsara researches, writes, reviews and updates every article, so you know exactly how much to trust what you read here.
1. We only use official sources
Every fact in a JanAvsara article — dates, fees, eligibility, age limits, vacancy numbers, salary, selection process — is taken directly from the official government notification, circular, press release or the concerned department’s own website. We do not copy details from other news sites, blogs or social media forwards.
Each article links to its official source in a “Sources” section, so you can verify everything yourself.
2. If something isn’t confirmed, we say so
When an official notification hasn’t been released yet, or a detail (such as an exact date or fee) hasn’t been announced, we label it clearly as unconfirmed rather than guessing or estimating. We never invent results, cut-offs, or merit list numbers.
3. Every article is written for clarity, not just to fill space
We avoid short, thin “notification released, apply here” posts. Where relevant, an article aims to cover:
- A plain-language summary of the scheme or notification
- Who is eligible, and who is not
- Age limits and any relaxations
- Fees, if any
- Important dates, laid out clearly
- Step-by-step instructions to apply
- Documents required
- Common questions people ask
4. Review before publishing
Articles are checked against the source document before they go live, and reviewed again whenever the underlying notification is updated, corrected, extended or cancelled by the issuing authority.
5. We keep articles current — and we don’t delete history
When an application window closes or a scheme is withdrawn, we update the article’s status to “Closed” rather than removing it, and link readers to newer, related opportunities. We do not use urgency-style wording like “New” or the current year in titles just to attract clicks.
6. Independence from schemes and departments
JanAvsara is not paid by, sponsored by, or affiliated with any government department, agency or scheme we write about. No department can pay for better placement, a more favourable description, or removal of accurate information. Our only commercial relationship is with advertising networks such as Google AdSense, whose ads are clearly separated from our editorial content and play no role in what we choose to cover or how we describe it.
7. Corrections
